Goals

The Palms Casino and Resort wanted to leverage their existing on-property traffic and digital presence to build a database of mobile consumers to whom they could market in the future..


Strategy

The Palms created a sweepstakes with a grand prize of a night's accommodation and dinner for two. Consumers entered the sweepstakes by sending the word PALMS to 74642. The sweepstakes was promoted throughout the property, plus across the Palms' digital properties including the main Web site, Facebook page and email database.


Results

The campaign generated thousands of entries in the first month alone. An amazing 60% of consumers opted-in to receive additional messages from the Palms in the future, thereby achieving the main goal of the campaign.
