Goals

Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii's largest airline with over 6 million passengers annually, sought to build their mobile database and increase brand awareness in Southern California, one of their primary target markets.


Strategy

Ping promoted a sweepstakes for Hawaiian Airlines throughout a series of San Diego Padres' games. In all, 10 packages of 2 free airline tickets to Hawaii were awarded.


Results

The sweepstakes campaign proved to be incredibly successful, generating thousands of entries and opt-ins for future re-marketing. Moreover, 99% of entrants chose SMS as their mode of entering the sweepstakes, instead of utilizing the online option.
